“At this point, the need for action is clear. There is still time, but my gosh, the window of opportunity is closing fast,“ Professor Stephen Belcher, chief scientist at the UK Met Office said.

This is in reference to a recent United Nations Emissions Gap Report that indicates we are on track for a 2.8°c rise in temperatures if we continue on our business-as-usual path, a long way from the 1.5°c pathway.
