Recommendations to improve the interpretation of and compliance with Article 6a of the 2019 Price Indication Directive
Last week, European retail associations Ecommerce Europe, EuroCommerce and Independent Retail Europe finalised a position paper with our recommendations to improve the interpretation and compliance with price announcements.
With this paper, we propose concrete ways to remedy diverging interpretations and make steps towards a more harmonised interpretation and well-informed application of the Price Indication Directive.
