Today, the Commission adopted its (draft) „Declaration on Digital Rights and Principles“. As the manifestation of our human-centred approach to digital transformation, this Declaration will serve as a reference framework for people, and as a guide for businesses and policy-makers alike.

Executive Vice-President Margrethe Vestager: “We want safe technologies that work for people, and that respect our rights and values. Also when we are online. And we want everyone to be empowered to take an active part in our increasingly digitised societies“.
