Why new products fail, and how to avoid it
Marketing and sales are how you grow a business. But how do you build products people actually want? This is the foundation of any successful business.
Over the past 13 years I’ve witnessed countless examples of companies and products that have been launched…only to see them crash and burn – regardless of how much time, effort, and money were poured into it.
The interesting thing was that the patterns for failure were the same whether the products were being developed by a small team of passionate entrepreneurs, or a large company with an abundance of resources at its disposal.
The core reasons for product failures can be distilled into 3 things.
If you understand these 3 things, new products have a tremendous chance to succeed.
Without these 3 things…it just leads to years of frustrations and wasted resources.
This Thursday, I’m doing a LIVE with Greg Kunin, someone I’ve had the pleasure of knowing and working with for years, where we’ll be going into depth on what these 3 things are, and how you can integrate them into the product development process to ensure the success of your next product.
