Reusable packagings present more than 80% reduction in CO2 emissions compared with a single-use alternative 📦

In 2021 Fashion For Good released the study „The rise of reusable packaging“, providing useful data about the use of reusable packagings. According to this study, the CO2 reduction from single-use to reusable packagings varies and depends on a few conditions, such as overall transportation distances (shorter transportation distance from sender to customer reduces overall carbon emissions) and Return rates of reusable packaging.

Indeed, high rates of return keep reusable packages in circulation for longer – dividing the material impact over multiple cycles thus reducing the carbon footprint.

We at LivingPackets are proud to provide packagings with high rates of return (until a thousand shipments) to bring the highest CO2 emission reduction ! 📉
