VAT ONE STOP SHOP 2.0

Light at the end of the tunnel for VAT in the Digital Age. Ahead of the next gathering of the European Council in Granada on 6 October, Ecommerce Europe wants to congratulate the Member States for the progress made especially for securing a tangible benefit for companies through the Single VAT Registration (SVR) concept.

The Spanish Presidency is committed to finishing the negotiations before December 2023 and Ecommerce Europe supports this aim but calls on ensuring a phased approach to implement SVR as early as possible and align the other provisions to the existing and upcoming legislations.
