Claus Fahlbusch studierte in seiner Heimatstadt und in Birmingham Elektrotechnik. Nach einer ersten Station als Softwareentwickler bei der Jenaer Cybio AG wechselte er 1997 zur Intershop Communications AG, wo er bis 2011 angestellt war.
Zunächst als Technical Trainer und Support Engineer, dann als Shopmanager im Bereich Fullservice E-Commerce.
2010 gründete er gemeinsam mit Stefan Hollmann eine erste eigene Firma, die webionate GmbH, eine Soft- ware Agentur für E-Commerce Lösungen. Dazu kamen praktische Händlererfahrungen u.a. mit uhr-mensch.de, einem eigenen Onlineshop für hochwertige Markenuhren.
Im Mai 2013 Gründung der shipcloud GmbH gemeinsam mit Stefan Hollmann.

Claus Fahlbusch studied electrical engineering in his hometown and in Birmingham. After an initial position as a software developer at Cybio AG in Jena, he moved to Intershop Communications AG in 1997, where he was employed until 2011.
Initially, he worked as a technical trainer and support engineer, then as a store manager in the full-service e-commerce division.
In 2010, together with Stefan Hollmann, he founded his first own company, webionate GmbH, a software agency for e-commerce solutions. In addition, he gained practical experience as a retailer with, among others, uhr-mensch.de, his own online store for high-quality watches.
In May 2013, he founded shipcloud GmbH together with Stefan Hollmann.
