On 19 October 2021, the European Commission presented its Work Programme (including Annex) for 2022, titled “Making Europe stronger together”. The Work Programme outlines major upcoming initiatives for 2022, which are aimed to build a fairer, more resilient and more cohesive society. The Programme delivers on the Fit for 55 Package that the Commission had published earlier this year, as well as on new sets of initiatives targeted at accelerating the twin digital and sustainable transitions and increasing the resilience of Europe’s economy and society to unprecedented challenges like the COVID-19 pandemics.
