INVITATION

2021 European E-commerce Report
Launch Webinar

Thursday, 23 September 2021 | 10.00 – 11.00 AM  (CEST)

Ecommerce Europe and EuroCommerce would like to invite you to a webinar to launch the 2021 European E-commerce Report.

E-commerce has experienced an unprecedented growth during the COVID-19 pandemic. The sector has proven to be resilient, and the crisis has accelerated the digital transformation of both consumers and businesses. Many companies developed omnichannel commerce solutions that allowed physical shops to continue serving their customers even during the lockdowns. These developments, as well as the green transition, will continue to shape the future of not only retail but of our society as a whole. Therefore, designing future-proof and channel-neutral policies, capable of adapting to evolving companies’ realities and consumer behaviour, becomes crucial.

During the webinar, we will reflect on the most important e-commerce trends and developments of the year 2020. The speakers are:

  • Ms. Sara Lone, Lead Research Analyst, Centre for Market Insights, Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences
  • Mr. Luca Cassetti, Secretary General of Ecommerce Europe
  • Mr. Jean-Albert Nyssens, Chief Economist at EuroCommerce
  • Ms. Elise Cachin, EU Public Affairs Leader, IKEA Retail (Ingka Group)

The Centre for Market Insights of the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, which executed the research, will present the key findings of this year’s report.

Representatives from Ecommerce Europe, EuroCommerce and IKEA Retail will then dive into these findings from a more political and business perspective. Following the presentations, the audience will be able to ask questions.
